Overview
The Gem ATS can connect with a variety of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), allowing you to push hired candidate data from Gem into your HRIS to help with onboarding processes.

Setup Requirements
- Your team uses Gem ATS
- Your team uses one of the supported HRIS listed above
- You are an administrator of your HRIS
Setup procedure
Inform your Gem Account Manager or Customer Success Manager that you wish to integrate Gem ATS with your HRIS. Please specify your HRIS in your request. (If you are unsure of who to contact, reach out to our Support team at support@gem.com to be routed appropriately.)
Our team will provide you (HRIS administrator) with an integration link. You will use this link to authorize Gem’s access to your HRIS.
Once your HRIS integration with Gem is complete, notify your contact at Gem. Our team will complete and guide you through the remainder of the integration process.
Using the integration
When a candidate is marked as “Hired” in the Gem ATS, they will automatically be pushed into your HRIS. No other actions are required on your part for this to happen.
Upon uploading a hired candidate into your HRIS, Gem will populate the following fields on the employee profile in the HRIS. You will have to fill in all other fields yourself after a candidate is pushed to your HRIS during the onboarding process:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Job Title
- Phone Number
Note: Gem is capable of pushing some additional candidate/employee information into your HRIS on upload. This is dependent on existing integration support for the field and would be performed on a case-by-case basis. If there are additional fields that you need, please contact your Gem Customer Success Manager with your request and provide details about the field(s) you would like to add.
