To connect Gem Scheduling and CoderPad, you'll need your API Key from within CoderPad.
CoderPad requirements
To be able to utilize the integration, you must have an Enterprise plan with CoderPad. This gets you access to view your API Key on the Settings page.
If you are not on the Enterprise plan, you may need to speak with a CoderPad representative to obtain your API key.
Once the integration has been enabled, users with any CoderPad license can utilize the integration within Gem Scheduling.
Getting the API Key
Once you've confirmed that you meet the above requirements, you’ll need to go into CoderPad and get your API Key. To do that, you can follow these instructions if you’re on the Enterprise plan, or otherwise ask your CoderPad account representative.
Connecting CoderPad to Gem Scheduling
Once you have the API Key, go to the Gem Scheduling Integrations page. On that page, toward the bottom, there will be a section for you to connect your live coding platform.
Click on the "Edit" button in the top-right of the section, select "CoderPad" as the type, paste your API Key, and click the "Save" button in the top-right. We validate that the API Key is correct.
This will enable the integration and give you the ability to indicate that you want to generate a CoderPad Interview URL on an interview template.
