Gem has the ability to help make tracking replies easier than ever. We will automatically determine “interested” replies from candidates and update their reply status in Gem for you.
How it works
By leveraging a machine learning model trained on very large datasets, Gem is able to achieve a ~90% accuracy rate on determining whether candidates' email replies are "interested."
Where can I see that a reply status has been automatically marked as “interested”?
When Gem detects an email reply to one of your sequences, we will do our best to accurately predict when a candidate is interested. If our model determines that the reply is most likely an interested reply, we will set that reply status for you, but you always have the opportunity to override to "not interested" or "follow up later."
For replies that Gem automatically determines as "interested", this will be reflected in the Gem extension under the "Sequences" section, the sequence's summary table, and via an email notification that will be sent to you.
What Gem does NOT do
-
Gem does not currently determine “not interested” or “follow up later” replies, so you will need to continue manually setting these types of reply statuses.
-
Gem is able to detect "interested" replies to your email sequences, but InMail replies and SMS messages still require you to manually set all reply status types (interested/not interested/follow up later).
-
In Gem's reporting modules, the ability to filter on "automatically" or "manually" set reply statuses is currently unavailable.
-
No past candidate replies have been automatically set to "Interested" but we hope run a backfill soon.
Great! How do I get this feature?
This feature has already been rolled out to most customers for all incoming candidate replies to your sequences going forward.
Please note: If you have more restrictive email permissions, Gem will not be able to automatically detect replies.
